We were asked to name and create the brand for a luxury grocery store in Melissa/Athens. We decided to call it “To kerato” (The Horn), inspired by the horn of Amaltheia, a symbol of prosperity and abundance. The word (kerato) in Greek is the most popular version of the word horn, this way we wanted to make the store more accessible to people's minds. Creating the logo, we decided to talk about the horn through its absence, telling its story through its heroes, presenting Amalthea with a slight constraint in style, the infamous horn broken and missing.
